Welcome to Surplus Food Contribution (SFC). By accessing or using our website, mobile app, or any SFC services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use SFC.

1. About SFC

SFC is a contribution-based cooperative that enables members to save monthly toward household food packages, enjoy rewards for consistent saving, and benefit from a transparent points-and-level system. SFC does not promise investment returns or interest. Rewards are tied to actual contributions and program rules.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use SFC. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is true and accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must notify SFC immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• SFC is not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to secure your account.

4. Contributions and Payments

• Members select a plan and contribute on a monthly cycle.
• Payments can be made in-app or via your SFC Virtual Account (VA) shown on your dashboard.
• Wallet funding reflects instantly for in-app payments. VA transfers may take up to 24 hours to confirm.
• All contributions are recorded in your wallet and plan history.

5. Plans, Cycles, and Completion

• Each plan has a monthly amount and a fixed duration (cycles).
• If a cycle is unpaid after the due date, your plan may be marked overdue until payment is made.
• When all cycles are paid, the plan is marked completed.
• SFC may adjust plan availability or pricing as needed, with notice on the platform.

6. Points, Levels, and Rewards

Points are earned through real participation in the scheme, including saving on time, extra saving, and referrals.

• Saving your monthly contribution on time earns points.
• Saving extra above your monthly contribution earns points per extra unit saved.
• Referring a successful contributing member earns points.
• Consistency bonuses apply for 3, 6, and 12 consecutive months.

Level rewards are based on referral milestones:

• Level 1: 2 referrals – 2 liters groundnut oil.
• Level 2: 4 referrals – carton of noodles.
• Level 3: 8 referrals – ₦10,000 cash + carton of noodles.
• Level 4: 12 referrals – carton of noodles + pack of seasoning + ₦20,000 cash.
• Level 5: 15 referrals – ₦50,000 cash + carton of Indomie.

Rewards can only be earned through genuine, verifiable contributions and referrals. Any attempt to manipulate the system, create fake accounts, or misuse referrals may result in forfeiture of rewards, suspension, or termination.

7. Referrals

• Referral rewards apply only when the referred member registers and contributes successfully.
• SFC may verify referrals and disqualify fraudulent activity.

8. Support and Communication

You can contact SFC via the Help Center or WhatsApp for questions or support. SFC may send you emails, notifications, or SMS related to your account, security, contributions, or rewards.

9. Prohibited Use

• Using SFC for unlawful purposes.
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the platform.
• Submitting misleading, abusive, or harmful content.
• Creating multiple fake accounts or fraudulent referrals.

10. Service Availability

We aim for continuous service, but downtime may occur for maintenance, upgrades, or issues beyond our control. SFC is not liable for losses caused by temporary unavailability.

11. Limitation of Liability

SFC provides a cooperative saving and rewards platform. We do not guarantee profits, investment returns, or interest. To the extent permitted by law, SFC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

12. Termination

SFC may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or misuse the platform. You may also stop using SFC at any time. Outstanding contributions and rewards will be handled according to program rules.

13. Changes to These Terms

SFC may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of SFC after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
